My Prose can Burn thereafter;

I identify solely
And primarily
As a poet.

It is the only thing I was ever good at.

My prose can be hung from the gallows above,
And my messy outlines mean nothing.

I don't know what I can do with my poetry,
Certainly not make a living off it.
It will never benefit me
In any way,
But it's all that I'll ever do.
